Payment Requirements
  • Invoices are due within 48 hours of receipt (financing exception: 50% due within 48 hours)
  • Instruments are held for you during the 48 hour terms of the invoice, if payment is not received during that time, the instrument will be put back on the market. If we end up selling the horn you wanted,  you would just have to wait until the next one arrives in our next batch from our supplier. 
  • Special Orders are non-refundable. What is a special order item? Anything not currently in our inventory that is specially ordered for you. 
  • Having any repair work performed by a third-party technician during the trial period or within the warranty period will immediately terminate the trial with no refund eligibility and will void all warranty coverage.

Returns

At Clarinets by Copeland, we want you to be fully satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you need to return an instrument, we offer a 7-day return window from the date of confirmed delivery (as verified by the tracking number).

Return Eligibility (Within 7 Days of Confirmed Delivery):

  • The clarinet must be returned within 7 days of confirmed delivery (based on the tracking number).
  • The instrument must be in its original condition with no signs of wear, damage, or alterations.
  • All original accessories, packaging, and documentation must be included.

Return Fees & Costs:

  • A 10% restocking fee will be deducted from your refund.
  • You are responsible for all shipping charges, including:
  • The original shipping cost from us to you.
  • The return shipping cost back to us.
  • If you paid by credit card, the non-refundable processing fees charged by the payment provider will also be deducted from your refund. **No returns available for financed purchases or special orders**

Returns After 7 Days (Store Credit Only – 7 to 30 Days)

  • If more than 7 days but less than 30 days have passed since confirmed delivery, we may accept a return for store credit only, which can be applied toward a different instrument.
  • The same restocking fee, shipping costs, and credit card fees will be deducted from the store credit.
  • Returns after 7 days are subject to approval and must still meet the original condition requirements.

How to Initiate a Return:

  1. Contact us at info@betterclarinets.com within the appropriate return window to request a return authorization.
  2. Safely pack the instrument in its original packaging and ship it back using an insured and trackable service.
  3. Once we receive and inspect the instrument, we will process your refund (if within 7 days of confirmed delivery) or issue store credit (if between 7 and 30 days and approved).

Important Notes:

  • Returns that do not meet these conditions may be refused or subject to additional charges.
  • We are not responsible for lost or damaged returns, so please use a reliable shipping method with insurance.
  • We guarantee all of our work. On overhauls, we provide up to two hours of adjustments free of charge (1 hour for cleanings). After this it is up to the customer to pay for additional time for adjustments.

  • Invoices are due within 48 hours of receipt
  • Payment must be made in full before shipping or pickup
  • After 48 hours, a 10% one-time late fee will be applied
  • An additional 5% fee will be added for each day unpaid thereafter
  • In extreme circumstances, if late fees accumulate to the value of the instrument, the instrument will become property of Clarinets by Copeland
