Copeland Kratos Pro Bb Clarinet

Our Copeland Kratos (Greek for power) Bb clarinet is one of our flagship pro models! It is one step above the Harmonia model. The keywork is more traditional with some ergonomic features, but the goal was for the keywork to be very traditional on this clarinet. We wanted a clarinet that just felt good under your hands. The bore is poly-cylindrical with undercutting throughout the range of the instrument. The taper is less on this instrument than the Harmonia, which provides a little more to push against. We find this to give more power throughout the entire range of the clarinet.

The wood is ethically sourced and aged African Blackwood. The sockets throughout the instrument are lined with carbon fiber inserts for crack protection. Keys are durable silver plated. And then the pads are made of gortex, which we found to be the perfect match for this horn. The pads provide a tight seal and quick response. The keywork you will find is very silent too!
