Used excellent condition Buffet “Pre-R13” Bb Clarinet. Serial # 34XXX. Grenadilla wood, silver plated keys, no crack history.

This specific instrument is being sold on consignment and thus is sold “as-is”, although it is in good playable condition. Original barrel was lost, one of our Copeland reverse taper barrels is included instead. Comes in ProPac international single case.

“Pre”-R13 models refer to Buffet’s line of professional R13 clarinets made prior to Robert Carrée’s development of the poly-cylindrical bore in 1955. While R13s made after 1955 are more highly sought after, Pre-R13s remain a high quality, professional instrument.
