The Buffet Crampon Gala brings modern Buffet Crampon acoustic design into an exceptionally accessible professional instrument. Introduced in 2020, the Gala continues the bore family established by the Tradition and Légende, combining the heritage of French clarinet making with Buffet Crampon’s latest acoustic research.

Designed and manufactured entirely in France, the Gala is characterized by rich harmonics, excellent balance between registers, and a warm, resonant tonal character. Its modern bore design provides an even response throughout the instrument, giving players the flexibility and stability needed for orchestral, chamber, solo, and ensemble playing.

The Gala is crafted from African grenadilla wood and features professional silver-plated keywork, leather pads, an adjustable thumb rest, and precision steel springs. Distinctive black nickel-plated rings and medallion give the instrument an understated and elegant appearance that immediately distinguishes it from other models in the Buffet Crampon lineup.

Standard models feature 17 keys and 6 rings, while versions equipped with a left-hand E♭ lever feature 18 keys. The instrument is designed for 440/442 Hz performance and combines professional materials and construction with an approachable playing experience.

Available in both Bb and A, the Gala makes an attractive matched pair for the advancing or professional clarinetist. The Bb includes 65mm and 66mm barrels, while the A includes 64mm and 65mm barrels.
