Used excellent condition Evette & Schaeffer Modele Buffet Crampon Master Model Bb Clarinet. Serial # K7—. Grenadilla wood, German nickel silver keys with some wear. no crack history*. Cork pads on upper joint, leather pads with resonators on lower joint.

This line of “Master Model” Evette and Schaeffer clarinets were made by Buffet Crampon in France. This serial number places the horn around 1961. These were made largely as early professional level horns, and as they were made during the same period of time as the “Golden Age” of R13’s, they benefit from the same production and wood quality, and make for a fantastic choice for the dedicated player on a budget.

*In picture you can see what looks like a pin that was sealed, but inspecting the wood there is not evidence of cracking anywhere. This looks to be where someone filled in with dust/super glue a chip or imperfection in the wood. We do not believe this instrument has any crack history.
